Not the same old tired retreds that all use canned soup. This book will fit the bill when you are looking to make "something different." Some REALLY tasty things here. If it would have included pix and nutritional info I would have given it five stars. If you like just 3 of the meals you got your $$ worth, but I'm betting you'll find way more than 3. Did I like EVERY RECIPE? No. Anyone who tells you they just ADORED every meal from ANY cook book is lying or related to the author...or maybe both. ;)This book is a recommended addition to just about any crock pot chef 's library. And when the family raves, go ahead and take all the credit.

Nothing new or original in fact some of the recipes sound pretty bland. I won't be keeping this book. Not impressed.
